The workshop is a painting training class.  I am intimidated to know that you want to follow a workshop with me.  You are already so good.  Of course, I am sure that my exploration is an help for beginners and also for professionnal silk painters.  I remember that Julie Cox Hamm followed a workshop with me and when I realize what she was doing... My goodness! I was impressed by her works.  And she kindly told me that my workshop was really helping her in her artistic carreer.

So you will be painting for two days with me.  Hard work but friendly atmosphere, I bring material but you can use your own dyes and gutta if you prefer.  I will have the frames, the silk, dyes, gutta (black gutta from Dupont), gutta dispensers, tips, Magic pencil, cold wax, discharge paste ...

You can bring your brushes and, if you prefer, your dyes too or different instruments that you use in your production.

We will realize one 8 inches diameter artwork and a 12 x 12 inches artwork the second day.  Bring your drawings, your images from journal, your photos...  We will start from what is inspiring you.  I will also bring drawings of mine and pictures.

It is an exploration or a development of techniques that I use to produce my artworks that will be of great help for all my students.  I give all informations that I know.  It is like an open book but live.

It will be my pleasure to teach you what I know  and I hope it will help your advancement.
