Eligibility

Artists over the age of 18 may submit two images of a maximum of three garments for jury consideration. Garments must contain mostly silk. Costumes and accessories are also eligible.

All work should be of original concept and executed by the artists. Collaborations should be indicated in the submission.

Submissions

To enter garments into the SPIN Festival 2010 Fashion show, you will need to do the following:

1) Fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

2) Pay the $20.00 entry fee. You can use this paypal button to pay your fee.

3) Email the digital images of the garments to fashion@silkinsantafe.com

Images

To streamline the jurying process, we are requesting that all images submitted should be in digital form.

Images should accurately represent the artists work. Images should be of high quality. Poor quality images are more likely to be eliminated during the jury process. The each image should be no greater than 1 Mbytes in size. In a standard format such as a JPEG.

Schedule

The deadline for entries is 5:00 pm CST on Sunday June 6, 2010. Jurying will be completed and notification to all artists by July 4, 2010.

Delivery and Pick-up

All accepted work must be received in Santa Fe by the first day of the Festival, August 1, 2010. Work will be shipped back to the artists by August 8, 2006.

 All costs, including insurance, shipping, delivery, pick-up, and return of work, are the artist’s responsibility.

Information on shipping, delivery, and pick-up will be sent to all accepted artists. SPIN retains the right to refuse any garment at the time of the fashion show if it was missrepresented entry information or has structural defects.
